Founded in 2010 by Managing Director Shaun, Parklands Services was built on a foundation of deep industry knowledge, hands-on experience, and a clear vision — to become the North West’s leading building contractor for local authorities and public sector organisations.
With a career that began within local authority building departments, Shaun worked his way up to the role of Senior Building Surveyor, gaining first-hand insight into the challenges and standards expected in the public sector. He later transitioned into the private sector, working for building contractors who served local authorities. This unique blend of public and private sector experience inspired Shaun to take the best from both worlds and establish Parklands Services — a company focused on quality, accountability, and delivering real value to its clients.

Since its inception, Parklands has specialised in reactive maintenance, property refurbishments and public sector construction projects. Today, over 15 years later, Parklands is proud to be the term contractor for three local authorities, while also working closely with a wide range of architects, building consultants, utility providers and government departments.
