We are absolutely delighted with this addition; it is amazing, and we love it. When it was suggested that Parklands build something for us instead of buying something ‘off the shelf’ I didn’t hesitate, and the result just shows that it was the right decision. It is my favourite project I’ve organised for the children, and it will get used a lot. The garden is to be used daily for lessons, story times, lunch times, after school for gardening clubs and we are already planning for it to be used as our Grotto for our Meet Santa event!

I’d just like to say that everyone involved, but especially Dean and Jimmy are absolute superstars and are a huge credit to Parklands. We are grateful to have contractors on site who have worked so hard and with a respectful manner within a primary school environment. I have seen how they have built this with love, care and attention and taken pride in their work. Dean is super talented and has worked with me developing the structure as we went along, adding/tweaking creating a beautiful outdoor classroom that doesn’t look out of place within the garden. The attention to detail is incredibly.

I am just emailing to say how wonderful the team were at fixing our nursery roof. We have had a number of roofer out over ten years to fix the roof with no avail. My staff and I ae delighted that after the heavy storm we had at the weekend we had NO leaks….we can’t actually believe it. Please do pass on how wonderful the men were to their managers/supervisors.

I wanted to make you aware of the fantastic work your staff have completed here this afternoon. Following an emergency school closure this morning due to lack of toilet facilities, Mark, Joe and Jack arrived on site and worked professionally and with a sense of urgency to ensure we would be able to open tomorrow to all of our children.

At every step of the process, Mark explained what they were doing and showed me the impact of their efforts, they are a credit to your company. At a time when our children have suffered a great deal of anxiety through enforced school closures, to have this problem resolved so swiftly will have such a positive impact on their wellbeing.

I would just like to say how brilliant your employees were last week with the lights. I appreciate that they were on a tight schedule as we were expecting the children back this week and that the old part of the building was a challenge, however, they were brilliant. They worked around our school day, left the area tidy and were respectful of the Covid situation and worked well with our risk assessment. All of the lads were very helpful.

I have to say the although we have had some delays which were outside anyone's control this year, the process has been smooth and we are happy with the outcome.

The very helpful lady said she would do her best to help. Within 30 minutes the maintenance contractor arrived and did a good job of sorting the problem.

As a Headteacher, I am very impressed by the conduct and attitude of the Parklands staff who have been on my site. Nothing is too much trouble for them; they are very mindful of school routines & safeguarding procedures and leave the site tidy. All these things are important to me as the person in overall control of my school site and I appreciate knowing that I don’t need to worry with Parklands Services.

I am writing to say what good workers 2 of your gentlemen are. They did a great job fitting new panels and cement posts and tidied up all along the pathway behind our 6 houses when the job was complete. My neighbours have commented how good everywhere looks.

I would just like to let you know what a fantastic job Andy did on our central heating.

The heating system had not been functioning properly for a few years and we had put off the job knowing it would be a major undertaking. In the past we had asked a few plumbers about it but they wouldn't do the job as it would take too long and was too complicated.

Andy made sure we had running water all the time and we were only without hot water for two days. He cleared up every day after all his work replacing the floor boarding so that is would be safe to walk around the upstairs.

It is great now to come home and be able to switch on the central heating knowing that every room can now be warmed!

Just want to re-iterate what a great job Lee did for us over the summer. I genuinely couldn’t ask any more of him. He kept me informed of developments/problems/solutions at every opportunity.

Nothing was too much trouble for him and his team. He had real pride in his work and kept the place clean and tidy. His insistence that his team (inc. contractors) fulfilled their roles and ensure work was of a good/high standard was evident throughout.

He even came in at the weekend to get the job done and returned keys to my home address!

I just wanted to say a big “thank you” for everything and for ensuring that the school was ready for staff/children.

Can I just take this opportunity to thank your staff who came out to help us with our roof problem. The gentlemen who arrived promptly on site in the first instance was a great help to us and gave us good advice as to our situation and to some safety issues that we needed to be aware of. The second visit further helped us to take information to the original contractors of the job, which helped us immensely in them taking responsibility for the work that needed to be done.

As the original company have taken full responsibility for the repairs, we do not need your assistance on this occasion but rest assured when we next have a new project we will be looking to utilise your services.

I would like to pass on my sincerest thanks to the team who undertook the flood reinstatement works at Carlisle. The effect of the flooding that hit both our office and operational property without any warning was extensive, and your team reacted with utmost efficiency and diligence. Not only were there two refurbishment projects to undertake, but there was reactive planning, staff decanting, temporary offices, and a workforce to procure as soon as possible.

We had to deliver both schemes to an exceptionally ambitious deadline due to the nature of the works and the effect to staff and the business. Both projects were delivered on time and to a particularly high standard. Senior management within the business also complimented the result following completion and extended a huge thanks to the whole team – it did not go unnoticed and certainly wasn’t simply “business as usual”.

Whilst this was a great overall team effort, it is only right that we reflect on the contribution from Gary who was involved from absolute inception to completion and his management, professionalism and ability to deliver were pivotal in the overall success.

You have gone on to deliver many other schemes within the Property Team following the above works and we would be more than happy if this continues long into the future.

Parklands have been the best contractor at Kendal by far over the last few years, and Dean is a 10 out of 10. Dean has responded to any issue that arose and sorted everything as required – he is a dynamo and never stops.

I just wanted to say how pleased we are with the way in which your team have carried out the construction of the hub office at Oldham. The guys have been courteous and respectful whilst they have been on site and produced a really good end product.

I also just wanted to let you know how well Chris has managed the site personnel and the construction operation. Now that the work is complete, I just wanted to say a big thank you to all those that helped to resolve our drainage problem here in School, especially Flash, Jimmy and Pete who had to work in atrocious conditions most (all?) of the time, and to Ant and Dec for finding the problem in the first place! I am sure half way through the job they all felt like walking away, but they brought a good sense of humour with them and never moaned to me once (not even Flash!). Nothing was too much trouble for them and they are a credit to your company.

A massive thank you to Tom Webber and Ant Wood from Parklands Services who were called out today at short notice. We very nearly had to close the toilets today as the main sewerage drain from the toilets was blocked! Not very pleasant for all concerned, but it was sorted within 2 hours of reporting it to Wigan Council. Short of a phone box and a red cape, we’re not sure they could have responded sooner! Thanks lads!
